A symposium called in French : "Assises de la lutte contre l’obésité 2008; De la balance au fléau : comment agir face au surpoids et à l’obésité ? » ("How to manage overweight and obesity?") will take place on 18 February in Paris in the prestigious "Palais du Luxembourg".
This event will be organized by the French office of public relations "Aromates" with the presence and participation of senators, members of parliament, representatives from the hospitals and the research world and the central government organisations concerned and in partnership with representatives from the medical press.
Many roundtables will be organized to debate the main causes (social, epidemiological, genetic,) of epidemic obesity, the actions and politics taken or to be taken, examples of the results obtained in the field, and the existing or foreseeable means of prevention.
On this occasion Roquette will once again be a stakeholder of this major event as a sponsor.
