A Symposium on Health Benefits of Foods will take place from 5th to 7th of October 2011 in Prague. On this occasion, Roquette will present a poster: “Nomadic fibers for diet enrichment: a potential preventive tool for weight management”

Roquette will be present next week at the 3rd Symposium, in a series of ILSI European functional foods symposia. This event entitled “Symposium on Health Benefits of Foods - From Emerging Science to Innovative Products”, will take place from 5th to 7th of October 2011 in Prague.
On this occasion, we will present a poster: “Nomadic fibers for diet enrichment: a potential preventive tool for weight management”. This will be the opportunity to share, on the basis of some examples, our approach of products development to produce nutritional ingredients and help formulate meals, meeting simultaneously the nutritional and regulatory requirements and the consumers’ needs.
One aim of the ILSI’s symposium is to bring together more than 300 key international experts from academia, industry and public bodies on a shared platform to review and debate recent advances in substantiation methodology of health benefits of foods. It will also be for us a complementary way of building new science and better understanding the complex regulatory and nutritional contexts.
